Senior sculptor, Mr. Keshav is from Dakshina Karnataka, has completed his training at Karkala, and this is his second camp with Shilpakala academy. Junior Sculptor named Mr. Palaiya from Chitradurga. He is basically a painting artist, and this is his first camp on sculpture. They sculpted Thiruvalluvar's statue, which took almost 12 to 13 days.

Thiruvalluvar, a poet-saint, is regarded as a cultural icon by Tamils. He is also known as Valluvar, was a celebrated Tamil poet and philosopher. His famous work is Tirukkuṛaḷ, a collection of couplets on ethics, political and economic matters, and love. Little is known certainty about his birthplace, family background, or personal life, but much of the information about Thiruvalluvar comes from mythology. His flour is dated variously from 4th century BCE to 7th century CE based on his writings’ linguistic analyses.
