Narayana Guru
Senior sculptor, Mr. Sunil Kumar from Chikkamangalore has completed a Master's in MFA at Bangalore University. Junior Sculptor named Mr. Rajesh from Shimoga has completed Bachelors in BVA. They sculpted the statue of Narayana Guru that took over 15 days to complete.
Narayana Guru, also known as Sree Narayana Guru, was a social reformer of Kerala and India. Born into a lower caste, he faced much injustice in the caste-ridden society of Kerala. He led a reform movement by rejecting the caste system in Kerala and promoted new values of spiritual freedom and upliftment of the exploited.
