The tools and raw materials that are used for Paper Mache Dolls are as follows:

• Newspaper: It is the main raw material for making paper mache.

• Babul Glue: It is a tree-based glue, mixed with paper mache, to act as a binding agent.

• Water: It is used to turn the paper pulp moist and soft for further process.

• Metal Wires: These are used as supporting material for making an armature for the doll.

• Wooden Boards: These are used as a base structure where the dolls are mounted.

• Glue: It is used as an adhesive to stick garments and other accessories on to the doll.

• Waste Rag: It is used to hold the metal wires together during the making of the armature.

• Scissor: It is used to cut the cloth, paper, etc.

• Molds: These are used in making regular parts for the dolls like hands, feet, etc.

• Primer: It is used to apply to the dolls to achieve a smooth finish to the surface.

• Acrylic Paint: It is used to paint the dolls with multiple colours to have a beautiful outer surface.

• Beads and Glitters: These are used to make jewelry for the dolls.

• Marble Powder: Usage of marble powder in the paper mache mixture, gives a smooth finish to the result.

• Chalk Powder Paste: It is applied as a precoat over the doll, before applying paint.

• Costume: Traditional dressing styles of different states and tribes are stitched and covered over the dolls.
