This is a design course conducted by Prof Ravi Poovaiah at IDC School of Design, IIT Bombay. The task was given to the group of students to select a topic of their interest and to create a visual story or narrative. The visual story should explore relationships across various factors related to the topic and create visualisations of these relationships.
The suggested mappings are as follows:
1. Mindmap of chosen Topic.
2. Artifact Mapping Visualizations with focus on objects and services.
3. Temporal/Activity Mapping Visualizations of chosen topic with focus across Time.
4. Spatial Mapping Visualizations of chosen topic with a focus on Environment, Space and Place.
• Spatial mapping of topics across geographies.
• Temporal mapping of chosen topic across time.
• Artifact mapping of chosen topic identifying the design of products, visuals and services.
In addition to these mappings, the chosen topic needs to be seen from the following points of view:
1. Sustainability
2. Social Design and
3. Storytelling
