On one side the ladies of the house drape the body of the Gauri’s and her children’s idols.
Whereas on the other side one member of the house enters from the main door of the house with the head of the Gauri Idol whereas the other from the temple courtyard and they both meet in the temple courtyard.
After this the heads are placed on the body of the Gauri Idols and her children’s.
Then offering of food (bhog) is made to Goddess Gauri followed by the family having food together.
